DICE Event: Different In The Same Way

DICE is working with the Leicester Migration Network to put on an event which is free to attend called Different In The Same Way? Accommodating language, culture and disability in refugee procedures. The event is set to take place on 4 May 2016 4.30-6.00pm at Bennett Ground Floor Geology Dept Lecture Theatre 10, University of Leicester University Road, Leicester LE1 7RH. It is a seminar which aims to bring together findings from two different research projects on refugees, dealing with a common question: how do government and non-government authorities understand and accommodate diversity in their interactions with refugees and asylum seekers? It will be delivered by Laura Smith-Khan, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Linguistics at Macquarie University.
