Man held over 'racially aggravated attack' on delivery driver

A 39-year-old driver was carrying out a delivery at a shop in Bargeddie, North Lanarkshire, when he was approached by two men. A bottle was thrown at the van smashing the window, before the driver was allegedly pushed to the ground by two men and attacked. He managed to run away and was taken to hospital for treatment. A 26-year-old man has been arrested and is expected to appear in court in connection with an alleged racially aggravated assault. The other man is being hunted by police.
