Film Showing at TREC: Working Illegally

TREC will be holding a showing of Lou Macnamara’s documentary Working Illegally on Saturday 30th April 2016 at 2PM. This documentary offers critical insight into the labour that maintains the UK’s detention estate. It is told primarily through detainees’ testimonies and based on original research. It exposes the reality of work in immigration detention centres run by private security contractors. The film maker Lou Macnamara himself will also be present to speak about his film to those in attendance.

All are welcome and if you are interested in coming please contact TREC at 0116 204 2790 for more information.
