The Crows Plucked Your Sinews

A one woman play about Somalis in Britain and Britain in Somalia called The Crows Plucked Your Sinews is set to be performed on Mon 22 February to Wed 24 February 2016 at The Curve Theatre Leicester (Rutland Street Leicester LE1 1SB). The play is based on real events featuring the epic lyrical tradition of Somalia. It is a unique exploration of the violence of empire and the poetry of resistance performed in both English and Somali.
