Mental Health Summit


A Mental Health Summit will take place on Friday 11 March 2016 from 9.30am to 3.30pm at Leicester City Council, City Hall, 115 Charles Street Leicester. The aim of the summit is “Maintaining independence and capacity building - focusing on resilience and recovery at a local level”. On the day, the speaker will be Dr Julie Repper – Lead for Recovery at Nottingham Healthcare Trust, Associate Professor in Recovery at University of Nottingham and Programme Director for “ImROC” (Implementing Recovery through Organisational Change).

This summit will provide mental health service users and their carers an opportunity to voice their views and opinions on the development and delivery of appropriate mental health services at a local level. After the presentations there will be time for questions and answers followed by a number of table-top discussions.
